{11 weeks}

Mason you turned 11 weeks on Tuesday - 8/10/10. Each day Mommy thanks the Lord for the last 11 weeks that he has given us with you. We are more blessed than we ever thought possible. Mason you are such an awesome baby and each second that passes we love you more and more. There is nothing I would rather do than be your Mommy. You make my heart pitter patter and fill my soul with so much love. Lately mommy has been looking at you and bursting into tears because she can't believe how much you are growing and developing. You have such a sweet spirit and you are so cuddly! You break out into the hugest grin when Mommy and Daddy talk to you. Lately Daddy has been teaching you the dynamics of baseball. I think you are grasping the concept quite well, too. :) You've already seen more Ranger games than most adults!! We can't wait to watch you play baseball one day.

A few things about Mason at 11 weeks -

At 11 weeks you are more than likely weighing in at 14lbs 14oz. (if you are on schedule with gaining a 1/2 oz a day. And I think you are) 

You have graduated to size 2 diapers and they seem more comfy for you.

You still sleep with mommy & daddy

You are also taking more naps during the day

You are mostly in 3 month clothes, some 3-6 months

You smile and laugh more and more each day (mommy and daddy love it and can't wait for the good belly laughs)

You are still eating about 4 ounces at a time, every 2 or so hours

You are still getting "mommy" milk and soy formula. Dr Gold says we will do this until you are around 6mths old and then we'll try to switch you back to a milk based formula.

You are more interested in people than toys

You are starting to reach for and grab things

Most days you are very content with sitting in your bouncer between mommy and daddy at dinner time

You still aren't that interested in a pacifier

AND

You have the most amazing, hands on daddy ever!
