Our Thanksgiving was great this year! Usually it's stressful, planning out the holidays and dividing our time between different places...but this year it worked out great. Thanksgiving day we went to Nate's Grandma's house for an early lunch and then back to his parent's house for supper. My family all went to Paris, TX to be with my Dad's side of the family. I would have liked to see everyone...but it's hard to break traditions and we didn't know until too late to make any arrangements. But, I will get to see a lot of that family before Christmas and that makes my heart happy!!
We had Thanksgiving on Saturday at my Granny's house with 33+ of my mom's relatives and it was so nice. We had bbq baked potatoes and a salad bar, which was a nice change. It was wonderful to visit with everyone at my Granny's house again! We haven't done it much because our family has outgrown her house. I'm so glad that we decided to have it there. Brought back so many great memories.
Thanksgiving was good for my soul.
