Yesterday we traveled about 2 hours into Oklahoma to meet Nate's parents at the Winstar Casino's campgrounds. Our camping group had planned on camping out there for the weekend and celebrating a good family friend's 60th birthday. He ended up having to cancel due to a family emergency. Nate's parents had already booked the campsites and were actually already there when they got the call so they decided to stay. Nate, Mason and I drove out there Saturday morning and spent the day. We had a great time! It was our first time at Winstar Casinos. That place is humongous!! Nathan and I had a nice lunch at Toby Keith's Bar & Grill and checked out the casino while Mason hung out at the campsites with Nate's parents for a bit. That evening some more of our friends joined and Nate's brother and his girlfriend came down. We cooked fajitas and just hung out and talked. It was a good time.
Here are my 10 photos from the tenth.
{O N E} I had a "low tire" light come on in my car so we stopped to get the tires aired up before we began our roadtrip:

How did you spend your tenth of October?
What a great way to spend your 10th. Camping is such a fun family affair. I'm glad you all had a great time!
ReplyDeleteWe spent our 10th at Bob Evans Farm! You can see all the cool stuff that was involved over on the blog. It was a blast!
I'll always love October 10th... 6 years ago I got engaged! This year we took family photos :)

I love this idea. I've seen it floating around and always forget when it comes to the 10th of the month! I need to write a note or I'll surely forget again!
ReplyDeleteThat camper sign is just SO cute. I need to get one of those, or make one, for my friend Anna. She would LOVE that.
ReplyDeleteYou just can't beat a sweet and salty combo!
I know you are Oklahoma fan but live in TX so are you and Nate from OK? Because a Texan doesn't usually like anything Okie!
