I have been so excited for this link-up! I absolutely love Easter. While we focus mostly on Jesus and his resurrection during Easter, we do still do Easter baskets and the Easter bunny. And, I'm going to admit...Mason's basket(s) are pretty big this year. I've been collecting things for a few weeks now and kind of forgot what all I had in my closet. I tried to get a lot of things that he could do outside since it's Spring and that's where we spend most of our time. Most of his Easter basket items are from the Target Easter section or the Target Dollar Spot.
The Mason basket has mostly candy and some books. The candy items are Pez, Egg gum, Peeps, Skittles, etc. Mason can't stand chocolate, so no chocolate bunnies in his basket. The other bucket is filled with an apron, a few garden tools, a garden tool bag, a strawberry plant, a giant blow up Ninja Turtle ball, a skipper thing, egg chalk, a bug dig kit, some socks, Jeep hot wheels and a few other things. The middle bunny box has a stuffed bunny and two golden eggs that have money inside them.
Side note...a couple of weeks ago we bought some of those little cartons of egg gum and I was telling Mason that used to be my favorite thing to get in my Easter basket. I asked him what his favorite thing to get in his Easter basket was and he said Hot Wheels. So I had to make sure I had some of those to put in there!!
What do you put in your kid(s) Easter basket? I hope you'll link up with us.
Oh my gosh Ez would love those jeeps. I've never seen those before and he went through a jeep obsession recently. Mason is gonna be so excited Easter morning. All kinds of fun surprises :)
ReplyDeleteThose are some awesome goodies! Mason is going to love it, especially the trucks! Love his Mason basket.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you asked so you could pick some hot wheels up! His Easter bunny sure has been busy. I forget things I get ahead of time as well, just so many fun things I want them all!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! That's a great basket! Love the apron, such a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteThe bunny basket is adorable! You gotta love Target! My Mason loves Hot wheels too! I wish I would have see the bug kit, that is too cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of things! My boys love Pez. It's a Sunday church tradition that there's a Pez dispenser in their church bag. So sweet that you included his favorite and yours :)

Great items! Target for the win this year! I stocked up on that Pez, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard not to go overboard on gifts, isn't it? We don't go too crazy throughout the year, so on holidays and birthdays, we overdo it a bit. You got so many great goodies for Mason - love it!
ReplyDeleteThat Easter Bunny really likes yall's house, huh? ;) So many great finds! I know Ben is still young but he would be obsessed with those monster trucks! Love those gardening finds too!!
ReplyDeleteThose jeeps are awesome! That Easter Bunny sure did good! ;)
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! That 'bug dig activity kit' looks cool. :) There was something special about the bubble gum in the carton for me as a kid too. Happy Easter!!
ReplyDeleteHehe I spy some Target items for sure! Such a cute haul Mason is going to love it, especially those Jeeps!
ReplyDeleteHe's going to love all that!
ReplyDeleteI spot some of the same Target items I bought! I think I bought everything from the Dollar Spot right after they stocked it!
So awesome, great stuff! I got the kids each one toy and some candy...Love this link up! Going to be linking up on Monday!
ReplyDeleteMason is going to love it! Glad you got those hot wheels!!!
ReplyDeleteThe egg gum totally brings back memories! Mason is going to have such fun getting his goodies!
ReplyDeleteWhile you went big, I went little this year. I feel like Connor is always scoring something from someone so he truly doesn't need anything and since we are cutting back on sweets, that limited me a bit. I did get him a toddler Bible and I'm excited to give it to him because he has talked about taking it to church to earn a sticker.
ReplyDeleteI love all the gardening tools you included! I can't wait to start planting flowers here! And it seems like every little boy wants some sort of car in their basket :)
ReplyDeleteMason is going to love that cute basket filled with goodies!
ReplyDeleteThose Jeeps!! Where did you get them? We are a big Jeep loving family, and need those!
So funny that Mason doesn't like chocolate!
Your Bunny went all out! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteHis baskets are so cool!! Love checking out other baskets! xoxo
