One of my favorite things about fall/Halloween is all of the fun crafts! While Mason doesn't have much patience for sitting and crafting for too long he does enjoy anything that entails painting {or making a mess!}. I love to raid the Target dollar spot bins around a holiday for little crafts we can do at home. I hit the jackpot on Halloween crafts this year! Among them was this fun paint your own skull.
Mason enjoyed painting the skull and now I have some cute artwork to display each Halloween!
Love this craft! I saw it at Target and should have grabbed it. Mason is so focused on the craft. Love craft time with kids.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! We contemplated getting Noah the pumpkin one in the dollar section but changed our mind last minute... You are making me regret that decision!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute! Our Target sells out so quickly of the Halloween crafts. I'm kicking myself for not buying them when I saw them.
ReplyDeleteI really should have hit up those craft bins sooner too. I am SURE they are really picked over now... or full of ALL the Christmas things :P. On second thought, maybe I should go. Look like he had fun!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, first of all, your son is so adorable! (I'm sure being 6 though he wouldn't like hearing that, LOL, I also have a 6yr old boy!) And we are all about crafting around here too! I should see if our dollar spot still has anything left!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! I'm so impressed that he's willing to craft. Dylan was never into that kind of stuff!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you totally hit the jackpot! Look at how cute that skull is (I don't think I've ever said that before lol). I love the way he painted it and then stuck a spooky spider in the eye to make it scarier. Mason did a great job painting! And of course he loved it because he got to get dirty. Sounds like my Mason :)
ReplyDeleteI also love your little header there with all the pumpkins on it!!
I love all of his details!
ReplyDeleteLove his creativity! That spider is the perfect spooky touch :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool craft! Jacob will do some crafting, but he gets bored easily. This one looks like it doesn't take long... I need to see if our Target still has some!
ReplyDeleteThat's cute! I was unsuccessful in finding little crafts at Target for Aria. Did he paint the white skull with white paint though? =) Love that it comes with a little stand.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see that in the dollar section!! What a fun little project for Mason.
ReplyDeleteWe did snag a "haunted house" in that section. I was all black, and had colored chalk to design and decorate, that was a good bit of fun for a few days for Marcus!
Look at him go! Nicely done Mason!!
ReplyDeleteI am not a huge Halloween fan, I blame that on my November 1 birthday. But you know I love Fall. I think we will have a bit of fun this month but nothing too crazy.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I love this idea. Mac would be ALL over this type of craft!
ReplyDeleteIm in awe over those sugar skulls in real life and have really come to appreciate my birthday being on Dia de los muertos; Im thinking a themed party is a must ;) You always score at the Dollar Spot!
