Today I am joining some of my sweet blog friends for an Easter Basket link-up! Every year I have so much fun collecting things for Mason's basket. And, I am always curious what other people put in their little's Easter baskets so I love this link-up! I hope you'll join us.
When shopping for Mason's Easter basket I normally start in the Dollar Spot at Target. I have had the best of luck in that area for the last couple of years. Mason is kind of in a tough spot when it comes to filling an Easter basket. He's too mature for his age and doesn't play with many toys anymore. He does like to do activities together after school, so I went that route. I found so many activity kits in the Target dollar spot that I know he will love. Here is how I am filling his basket this year...
Contents:
Robot Shrink Art Kit, Sidewalk chalk, Bug Dig kit, Light-up Ice Putty Kit, Slime Time Kit, Pirate's Chest Excavation Kit, Paint your own Flower Pot, Daisy planting kit, Dino Fossil Excavation Kit, Bunny Pom Kit, Slime in an Easter Egg, Egg erasers, and various candies.
Not pictured:
Stuffed bunny and some faith-based Easter books.

ReplyDeleteYou found so much cool stuff at your Target! I'm jealous. Mine has been such a bust lately. Mason is going to love his basket!
ReplyDeleteNice job! I love it. I'll be putting Easter jars together for my lil people. I didn't want to go all out & my girls are 18 & 15 so they'll just be getting DQ & Applebee's gift-cards along with candy. :)
ReplyDeleteWow what a lucky little boy!!! We went very light this year which is unlike us... but still. Come Sunday it'll be all good in the hood!!
ReplyDeleteLove all those activity kits! The Target dollar spot killed it this year.
ReplyDeleteMason is going to love his goodies! Great shopping Easter Bunny! ;)
ReplyDeleteI got the same excavation kits for the girls (but the jewel ones lol) gotta love Target always coming through :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a pretty good spread you got them. I know Mason is really good at reading, not sure if he likes biographies, but I bought my kids some Who's Was...books, and currently they are $2.99 on amazon. My kids love reading about real people, he might like those, especially since he can read really well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun basket friend. He is going to LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteMason is getting some good stuff for Easter!! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I found that "M" liner at Target the other day and did a little happy dance. We stumbled upon an end cap of them and I was all excited and told Mason "ok, now we just need to find an M" and he's all "Mom, it's right there" Ha! Good thing I brought him with me, I didn't even see it!
One of my favorite link ups! Mason's basket is so cool! Hopefully I can add Evan's later on today. xox
