I just can't seem to get it together when it comes to this blog! We are thick in a season of busy and finding the extra time for blogging just isn't happening lately. I started finding little bits of time and motivation last week and was eager to get blogs drafted and then I had to go and get sick. Like super sick and I felt like doing absolutely nothing for over a week. So, here I am trying to find that motivation I had last week. I feel like I have so much to catch up on here. We have been busy checking things off our 2017 Fall Bucketlist and today I will share a few of those.
First of all, can I say how excited I am that it's finally October? I love everything about this month and wish we had two months of October. I mean, with as many items as we have on our 2017 Fall Bucketlist we need it. Fall time is the best time. I only hope that the Texas weather would start cooperating soon. We are still having 90 degree + weather here. It's so heartbreaking! I need fall weather for all the fall things. We kicked off fall back in September with some Pumpkin Spice Donuts from Krispy Kreme. They were more delicious than I could have ever imagined.
I've decorated my porch and all it needs is more {real} pumpkins! We are visiting the pumpkin patch this weekend and will probably come home with quite a few. I bought a new welcome sign, a new fall doormat, a humongous mum, and added some fall foliage to my wreath. I love the way it looks so far! Mason bought the two pumpkins on the little table at a pumpkin patch near his Great Grandma's place. We love pumpkins!!
I made Nathan's Grandma a fall wreath for her door at her assisted living apartment. I wanted to make a burlap one, but was having trouble finding materials. I love the way this one came out! It's simple, but pretty.
I've had one too many Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Well, iced PSLs because it's too hot here in Texas for anything other than an iced drink. But, I think I may love the iced ones more than the hot ones and don't see me stopping with the iced any time soon. It's an obsession, really.
I bought Mason a couple of new Halloween books. We have all of the "Texas" series book so I couldn't pass up on buying this new one "The Spooky Express Texas". And just like the others, it's so dang cute! I also bought Mason a chapter book to read. He's into the Goosebump books lately.

ReplyDeleteIf I was able to, I would snatch up that red truck flag. Yup, I would steal it! I love all things red truck!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to be crossing things off your list. LOVE that gold lettering on that shirt friend. It is SO much fun. I need to dig my Halloween stuff out of the attic and add it to our decor!
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks so cute! I like the shirts too.
ReplyDeleteHey Girl! I am so sorry you've been sick. I sure hope you're feeling better now. I love your seasonal bucket lists. I'm getting mine ready to be posted tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteYour little porch always melts my heart, it's the perfect little cozy, southern porch and I adore it! I also love those tee shirts you made. I definitely need to make me a couple more Halloween/Fall themed ones.
It sounds like you have a fun bucket list planned. You're going to have an amazing fall!!!
I'm so sad that we missed the pumpkin spice donuts that day at KK. The line was wrapped all around the building and down the street so we said, no thank you! Haha.
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the shirts you make! Seriously!!
