{This past weekend // Last one in September}

What.a.weekend.it.was. While I love our weekends around here, I am okay with this one being over. It started out with me being sick on Thursday and into Friday and even into Saturday and Sunday. I used a personal day at work on Friday because I was so sick! And then we found out some dear friends of ours died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday. It was just a weekend full of emotions and not feeling well. Anyhow, here's a look at what we did this past weekend.

This past weekend was for taking a personal/sick day...
This past weekend was for lots of snuggles...
This past weekend was for fresh sheets and quilt...

This past weekend was for some maintenance on the CJ. We got an alignment, and some things tightened up and what a difference!!

This past weekend was for Halloween costume shopping...and finding a men's wallet in the costume section of Target. Mason was so worried about finding the rightful owner and Nate wanted to make sure it was actually someone's wallet and not just a wallet with the tags ripped off of it. We checked the driver's license picture and name to see if we could identify the owner on the way to take the wallet to customer service. Afterward, I checked out while Nate and Mason took something back to the costume section that we ended up not buying. After I checked out I saw the owner of the wallet from a distance and knew it was him. By the time Nate and Mason got back, I could see that the owner of the wallet was in a full-blown panic. So we chased him down and let him know that Mason had found it and turned it into customer service. Mason said, "I'm just so thankful you are still here and can get your wallet back!" The gentleman shook Mason's hand and thanked him. We were heading to the Jeep when that man chased us down and handed Mason a $20 bill and thanked him again. We tried to give it back and tell him he didn't have to do that, but he wouldn't let us give it back! Needless to say, we were so, so proud of our sweet boy!!

This past weekend was for Nathan & Mason shenanigans...

This past weekend was for ice cream from Dairy Queen...but spoiler alert, I didn't get to eat mine. Still wasn't feeling good enough and it was so rich! But, it was amazing. What is it I am talking about?? The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard from DQ!! Yum!

This past weekend was for nighttime backroad CJ rides to my parent's house...

This past weekend was for CJ rides to Sonic for waters! Nate gets a lemon & lime water and I get ice water with extra vanilla. My favorite drink ever!!

This past weekend was for church and parking next to a Jeep friend...

This past weekend was for an amazing worship service and sermon. And for a beautiful reminder that my identity is not what I see in the mirror, but who I am in Christ and Christ alone.

This past weekend was for my sister in law's baby shower and it was beautiful!!

This past weekend was for some Sunday night crafting...my weekends just aren't complete without a bit of crafting. More on this later...
