I took off the first Friday of the month so that I could join my Mother in Law, Sister in Law, and Brother in Law at Canton First Monday. We also invited my best friend, Keri. She's off on Fridays and was able to join us! I'm so glad she did. We had the best time.
For those that don't know what First Monday is, it's a huge shopping event that lasts all weekend long. It's always the weekend before the first Monday of the month. We like to go on either Thursday or Friday because it's less crowded. This Friday was a bit more crowded because so many were off work for Good Friday! Anyhow, First Monday is considered a Flea Market...but they have everything!! From boutique clothing to handmade goods and everything in between. We love to shop the antique part of Canton! You can find some real gems!!
I came home with a chandelier for my chicken coop, a decorative knob for my bathroom (to hang my robe on), a sweet potato vine plant, a custom-crafted Damascus knife for Mason's Easter basket, some Legos for his Easter basket, some random toys and things for his Easter basket, a necklace, and I can't remember what all else. It was a great shopping day and we had so much fun together.
I didn't take many pictures at all, but here's a before of my chicken coop chandelier. The next time you see this chandelier, it will be completely different. I'm re-fabbing it!
