{Currently // December 2022}

Linking up with Jennifer for the "currently" series. For December, we are sharing what we are currently loving, gifting, wrapping, hoping, and attending. 

Loving //

This time of year!! It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.  I love all of the festivities, the church services, the decorations & twinkle lights, Advent, family time, Christmas music & movies, traditions, the extra cheer, Santa pics, Bethlehem & The Live Nativity, all of the magic in the air, and so, so much more!! It just warms my heart, this time of year. 

Gifting //

We have about 95 % of Mason's Christmas done!! We've already gifted him a couple of experiences - a Maverick's basketball game, a Star's game, and a trip to Branson. I still have to share about some of these things on the blog. 

Now we just have to figure out what to get the world's hardest parents (on both my side and Nate's)!! And then we have the nephews to buy for, some gifts for our friend's white elephant night, a gift for another white elephant (for my family's annual baking party), and a couple others. 

Wrapping //

All the gifts for Mason that have started to come in the mail!! I am loving the wrapping theme I picked out from Target this year. I've wrapped everything but I still need to make all the homemade bows, tags, and embellishments. I wanted to give it a few days to see how the cat would do! Maybe if she's used to the gifts she will leave my bows and such alone. Wishful hoping I'm sure! She's lucky she's adorable and so very loved. 

Hoping //

I am mostly hoping that this season slows down and that we savor every last drop of this Christmas magic. I woke up yesterday morning and thought "how in the world are we already six days into the month of December?" It's always my favorite months that fly by - no matter how much you try to slow down and savor it. I hope and pray that we fill these December days with focusing on the true reason for the season, Jesus. I want to be intentional with this time and make memories that we will cherish in our hearts for a long, long time. 

Attending // 

All the Christmas festivities! I just love this time of year.  This weekend we have our annual ladies' baking party and I am super stoked. I look forward to this day each year! We've been out of town the last two Sundays, so I can't wait to attend our church's Advent service this Sunday. I love seeing our church all decorated for Christmas. And then the following week is full of Christmas parties that we will attend!!
