{A TRIP TO THE HILL COUNTRY // KERVILLE & FREDERICKSBURG}

We traveled to the Texas hill country for Labor Day weekend and had so much fun! Nate's parents booked a VRBO and invited our sister-in-law's parents to join. It was such a sweet time with tons of precious memories made!

We all got to the house Friday afternoon. That evening we went to town for some Mexican food and margaritas. It was delicious! That evening we just hung out at the house. The property had incredible views and so much wildlife.

Saturday morning we had a home-cooked breakfast and then headed into Fredericksburg to do some shopping! It was extremely hot, but we managed to have a good time.

Saturday evening we had another delicious home-cooked meal courtesy of Michelle's sweet Mama!

Sunday, we went to The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Gardens in Kerrville. It was breathtaking! I could definitely feel the presence of God as we walked through the gardens! Mason filled out a prayer rock, asked many questions, and was ready to get baptized right there in that fountain! I'm telling you WE FELT THE HOLY SPIRIT while we were there! It's definitely a day I will hold dear to my heart.

We just chilled the rest of the weekend. We went thrifting, antiquing, and got ice cream for dinner. It was a really nice weekend with some special people.
