{Taking NeNaw a World Series Shirt}

 When the Texas Rangers won the World Series, it wasn’t just a victory for the team — it was a special moment for our family, especially for Nathan and his grandmother, our beloved NeNaw.

Nathan has often shared how much of his love for the Texas Rangers came from her. Growing up, NeNaw wasn’t just a casual fan — she was passionate, dedicated, and always eager to cheer on her team. Some of Nathan’s sweetest childhood memories are tied to those moments with her at the ballpark.

He tells stories of how she would pick him up, and sometimes the two of them would be the only ones in the stadium watching batting practice. Just the two of them sitting there, soaking it all in — the crack of the bat, the thud of the ball in a glove, the quiet hum of the stadium before the crowd arrived. Because of those early visits, Nathan had some incredible experiences — meeting players, and collecting treasured souvenirs like a player’s bat and several baseballs. But even more than those keepsakes, what mattered most was the time spent with NeNaw — bonding over a shared love for baseball and their Texas Rangers.

So, when the Rangers finally clinched the World Series title, we knew we had to celebrate with her. We picked up a World Series t-shirt for her — a small but meaningful way to mark the occasion. When we arrived at her place, the joy on her face was priceless. We spent the sweetest little time together — just the four of us — reminiscing about her memories with Nathan, celebrating this long-awaited victory, and sharing stories about all the moments that made us Rangers fans for life.

It was one of those simple yet powerful moments — the kind you know you’ll carry in your heart forever. NeNaw has always been such a special part of our lives, and getting to celebrate this milestone with her was something I’ll never forget.

Mason also got to share with NeNaw his new hockey jersey! His first official jersey as a hockey player for the Dallas Stars Metro Hockey League!! 

We love our NeNaw something fierce, and this memory is one I’ll treasure always — a perfect reminder that sometimes the best celebrations aren’t just about the win, but about the people you share it with.
