I almost have no words — but at the same time, I have so much to say! The Texas Rangers have finally won the World Series, and we couldn’t be more excited. We have been waiting for this moment for years, and now that it’s here, it feels so surreal!

My husband started playing baseball when he was just three years old, and I’ve always known baseball would be a big part of his life. But when we started dating 27 years ago, I quickly became a baseball fan too — and not just any baseball fan, but a Texas Rangers fan through and through. Over the years, we’ve cheered them on through the ups and downs, always believing that one day this moment would come.

And now, here we are — World Series champions at last.

We watched the final game from home, hanging on every pitch. The excitement, the tension, the sheer joy when they finally clinched the win — it was incredible! As soon as the game ended, we jumped in the truck and headed out to grab some World Series swag. Apparently, we weren’t the only ones with that idea. I think everyone in Ellis County had the same thought because the line was insane! It wrapped around the entire building.

But honestly, waiting in that line for about an hour was part of the fun. The atmosphere was electric — people were cheering, talking about the game, and just soaking in the excitement of finally being able to say, Our Texas Rangers are champions! It felt like a celebration just being there, surrounded by so many other fans who’ve been waiting just as long for this victory.

This win feels so special — not just because we’re fans, but because it’s something we’ve shared as a family for so long. Baseball has been a big part of our story, and moments like this remind me why sports can be so powerful. They bring people together, build memories, and create connections that last a lifetime.
