{Autumn Bucketlist 2022 / carve pumpkins, college football, pumpkin coffee, decorate the porch, pumpkin for chickens}

The weather has been so glorious lately (in the mornings and evenings) and I am soaking up every minute of it. We are chipping away at our autumn bucket list and have already done so many fun fall things! Here's a look at the things we've done so far!

{Autumn Bucketlist // 2022}

It's no secret that autumn is my favorite season! I love when the leaves start to fall and when the weather gets crisp and cool! While the calendar may state an official "first day of fall", for me it's on the day of the first college football game! I mean, what screams fall more than college football? And it's then that I want to pull out all of my fall decor, sweaters & boots, light all the autumn-scented candles, and get busy on our fall bucketlist. We have so many fun fall traditions and I love it. Here's a look at our 2022 Autumn Bucketlist.

{PUMPKIN PATCHIN'}

For the last three years, Mason and I have visited this cute little pumpkin patch in Midlothian, TX. It's put on by a church there in town. We found it because it's right next door to Nathan's Grandmother's assisted living facility. We love supporting the church! And, they always have the cutest little photo ops around the patch. Plus, it's a sweet little tradition shared by just Mason and me.

{Falling for Fall // Fall 2020 Bucketlist}

The temps here in Texas have been glorious and it's actually starting to really feel like fall. I couldn't love it more if I tried. Fall is my most favorite time of the year and I get so happy and so giddy. I am obsessed with fall weather, fall clothes, fall scents, fall foods, fall festivities, fall traditions, topless rides in the Jeep, fall crafting, etc. September 22nd may have been the actual first day of fall, but my heart was in fall mode after school started (Sept 8). Here's a look at our Fall 2020 Bucketlist.

{2019 Autumn bucket list // Update two}

Not too long ago I shared our first Autumn bucket list update and today I am back with another update! We are rockin' and rollin' on our list and having so much fun this fall. We are about 72% through our list. Here's a look at what we have done so far...

{HALLOWEEN 2019 // TRICK OR TREATING}

Are we over Halloween, trick or treating, and pumpkins? I know the minute we got home from trick or treating I was ready to ditch the pumpkins and bring out the Christmas stuff! Maybe because it was in the 30's here and that's more like winter for Texas and not very fall like! We skipped right from summer to winter! Anyhow, we decided to go Trick or Treating in our town this year and we had a good time! We started early around 5:45ish, but it worked out pretty great for us.

{Pumpkin Patching at Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm // 2019}

Last Sunday we were able to finally carve out some time to go to the Pumpkin Patch. October was jam packed and a billion degrees. Who wants to visit the pumpkin patch when it's 96 degrees outside? That just doesn't feel right to me. Anyhow, we had declared Saturday, October 26th as our "pumpkin patch day". It was going to be a glorious high of only 64 degrees and just perfect. Only it rained and rained on the Thursday and Friday before so they closed the patch for Saturday. Womp. Womp. We already had plans for Sunday as we were celebrating my Grandma's birthday party at my aunt's house. Monday would have been her 74th birthday and we wanted to celebrate her. We were able to get together with my family for a few hours and then head to the pumpkin patch for a few hours.

{2019 Autumn bucket list // Update one}

It should come as no surprise that we've already started crossing things off our 2019 Autumn bucket list!! Here's what we've done so far...

{Autumn Bucketlist // 2019}

Let me preface this by saying that I know that the actual first day of fall isn't until September 23rd, but I can't help it...it's all fall up in the Hall casa!!! I just love fall so much and like to enjoy it a little longer. It is my favorite season without a doubt and for a plethora of reasons. I love the sweet little fall family traditions that we have made over the years and look forward to them each time fall rolls around. This year is no different. I got so giddy when making this list because these are some of my favorite activities to do with my sweet family.  I just really wish the Texas weather would get the memo and get on board! It usually doesn't start cooling off until late October for us. But, I do not let that stop me from enjoying all things fall. I mean, inside our home is a cool 67 degrees, so that works for me. Here is our 2019 Autumn bucket list {side note, I like the word autumn better than the word fall}.

{2018 Fall Bucket list // Update 2}

Okay, I have to be honest and say that I am in full on CHRISTMAS mode now! The day after Halloween just flips that switch for me. Don't worry, we still celebrate Thanksgiving {and we celebrate it good} I just want to enjoy my Christmas decorations a little bit longer. Anyhow, we really did have a fun fall season checking things off of our 2018 fall bucketlist. We did have quite the rainy October in which it rained more often than not. You can imagine how much of a damper that put on our Fall activities. Here is a look at what we have accomplished so far.

{Halloween Happenings at Mitchell RV Resort // 2018}

This past weekend was our Halloween camping weekend that I've been talking about for months! It was a complete blast! This was the 8th annual Halloween Happenings for Mitchell Resort, but only our 2nd time to go. We went last year for the first time and just loved it. This will for sure be a new family tradition for us for sure.

{2018 Pumpkin Patch #1}

If you've been around my blog for any length of time you would know that Pumpkin Patches are totally our jam. Do you know how many we have been to so far this season? One. ONE. It's basically been raining almost every day of this month so far. It's really cramping my October style. Anyhow, the little pumpkin patch we went to was a church that sells them as a fundraiser. Mason and I went when he was off for a Fair Day. They don't have anyone attending the pumpkin patch during the day and use an honor system. Mason and I took a bunch of pictures and he picked out all the best pumpkins. This patch is right next to Nathan's Grandma's assisted living facility so Mason picked out a pumpkin for her and we took it over to her and visited for a while. We had the best time and we barely beat the rain!! I'm so glad we were able to get this little pumpkin patch date in because it may be the only one we get this season! (cue all the tears) Get ready to see all of these on the ol' gram for the rest of the month!

{2018 Fall Bucket list // Update 1}

Are you guys loving this season as much as I am? We are having so much fun checking things off of our 2018 fall bucketlist. This is such a wonderful time of year filled with so many activities. Here is a look at what we have accomplished so far.

{Fall 2018 Bucketlist}

With the first day of fall being on Saturday, I wanted to share our fall bucket list. I was going to share it on the actual first day of fall, but then I saw there was a link-up for it today. So here we are. Anyhow, it's finally my favorite season of all. I mean, I love summer because my boy is home with me, but fall is my absolute favorite. There is just something about that time of year that makes my heart feel so full and happy. I'm obsessed with all things pumpkin and just the very feeling of fall.  Compiling and completing a fall bucket list has always been such a fun time in our house. And, it's the one thing I have been consistent with on the blog. All of the fall festivities are my favorite and so good for my soul! Here's a look at our Fall Bucketlist for 2018...

{2017 Fall Bucketlist // Wrap-up}

Oh fall, how I love you so! We had so much fun adventuring through the season. While we didn't finish everything on our 2017 fall bucketlist, I feel like we put a pretty great dent in it. Here's a final look at our list and what we did/didn't accomplish.

{Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm // 2017 Fall Bucketlist Update}

I just realized that I briefly mentioned Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm in one of my 2017 Bucket List Update posts, but I never posted the rest of the pictures. Mason and I visited the farm on a Saturday while Nate was in a fishing tournament. Shadow Creek is a brand new pumpkin patch that opened in the next town over. I knew from the first time I started seeing advertisements about the farm that I wanted to go and support them. The entire time they were open they were supporting one organization or another. Their first year open and they were giving away much of their proceeds! Anyhow, Mason and I had such an amazing time. We spent over 3.5 hours at the farm. It was so pretty and so relaxing.

{Mainstay Farm // 2017 Fall Bucketlist Update}

Another item we checked off our 2017 Fall Bucketlist was visiting Mainstay Farm. It's one of our favorite places to visit in the fall {pumpkin days} and winter {Christmas trees}! Mainstay Farm is a huge farm about 45 minutes from us that never disappoints. Mason looks forward to it each year. We had planned on going Saturday, but with the new Jeep we had too many errands to run and didn't make it. So, we went on a Sunday. We were there when the gates opened and the line was already incredibly long! But, once we got in the gates it didn't feel crowded at all. The place is so big and there are so many things to do that it's hard to feel crowded. We had such a good time!

{HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS AT MITCHELL RV RESORT // 2017}

If you've been around this blog for a minute you know that we are a big time camping family. We love to camp, but especially in the fall. We used to camp at Jellystone Park, but after our last F I A S C O we will not be going back there again. We are happy to report that we have found a new place to camp for Halloween happenings. It's a place about an hour and 45 minutes from home in Perrin, TX called Mitchell Resort. We are so happy to have checked this off of our 2017 Fall Bucketlist...

{Pumpkin Patch, Hayride, Cornmaze, Hocus Pocus // 2017 Fall Bucketlist Update}

Even though the weather has been anything but than fall-like, we are having a complete blast checking things off our 2017 fall bucketlist. We're not letting the 90 degree weather put a damper on our fall festivity happenings. Here's what we have completed so far.
