The Texas Rangers are on fire and so fun to watch lately!! Don't get me wrong, we are die-hard Ranger fans over here, win or lose, but this new team is just exciting!! We got to attend Monday's game and had a blast! We had an extra ticket so we invited Nate's mom!
{Ranger's Game // Lexus Club}
On Wednesday we were able to attend the Texas Rangers baseball game! We were gifted some amazing seats in the Lexus Club section! This was our first time ever sitting in the Lexus Club! The tickets came with an you can eat/drink option and the kids loved that. We had 8 tickets so some of our friends were able to join us.
{RANGER GAME WITH JEEP GIRL MAFIA}
For a Jeep meet for Jeep Girl Mafia, we went to a Texas Ranger game! It was so much fun to take up an entire section or two and cheer on our Rangers! We had such an amazing turnout, too!
{Ranger Game with Friends}
We joined some of our friends for a night out at the ballpark! Even though some of our friends are Braves fans (how rude, lol), we still had an awesome time together.
{Our first Ranger game at the new Globelife field}
We finally got to see the new Globelife Field and we were impressed!! Nathan scored some awesome tickets from work for the three of us. We were so excited to go!

{This Past Weekend // Ranger game, time with friends & Mother's Day}
Happy Thursday! I can't believe I am just now sharing about this past weekend. The Monday after a busy Sunday is just too hard {plus I took entirely too many pictures and the thought of going through them was overwhelming}. I was in a weekend hangover/funk all day long on Monday and did very little blogging {or anything else for that matter}. And then Tuesday came and I just slapped some pictures I wanted to share into a post, Wednesday I had something planned and now here we are, already at Thursday. We had such an incredible weekend and there is no way that I could go on without blogging about it. Here is a look at...
{Date Night // Texas Ranger Game}

Nathan and I had a date night last night!! And where did we go? The Ranger game of course!! We scored some awesome seats just 18 rows up from the field!! It's no secret that the ballpark is one of my favorite places to be and last night did not disappoint. The atmosphere and the game is just unbeatable. I know I say this with every Texas Ranger post on my blog, but I can't help it. I just love the smell of ballpark food, the sound of the baseball hitting off the bat or into a glove, the hustle and bustle of everyone trying to find their seats, all of the red & blue shirts, the hootin' and hollerin', God bless America during the 7th inning stretch, fireworks after a homerun, the dot race, and even those unruly people yelling at the opposing team! Last night we played the Yankees and there was a man in front of us that was clearly not a Yankee fan. He kept everyone laughing.

We got to the game a little late because we stopped for a quick dinner. We were expecting our seats to be on first base side, but were surprised to find we were right up from third base. It was pretty crowded in our section and we were smack dab right in the middle of our row, but we had a wonderful time.

Another one of my favorite things to do is to listen to the Rangers walk up songs! That's always interesting, sometimes funny, and sometimes surprising. There's nothing more that I love than a player having a Christian/Worship song as their walk up. Robinson Chirinos walked up to "Nothing is Impossible" by Planetshakers.
Through You,
I can do anything,
I can do all things,
For it's You who gives me strength,
Nothing is impossible

Rangers won 5-2!! #hellowincolumn So thankful for a night out with my love, and thankful for a mother in law who is always more than willing to watch our sweet boy!!
Are you a baseball fan? Which team do you root for?
{Our weekend // dentist, wedding, church, ranger game}
It started with a 6 month dentist check up for our little man! Mason saw a new dentist this time and did great. I mentioned in my post {here} about our last dentist trip that we loved the dentist, but other parts of the apt were less than pleasant. Well, we decided to move Mason to Clark Dental for kids. We go to Clark Dental and they share a building. We loved our experiences with the practice and had a good feeling about the kids side. We were right! We loved Dr Ben & staff. He was so great with Mason! Mason does have a cavity on one of the very back teeth. Dr Ben said it's going to be tricky to get to and thinks that Mason would do best to have oral sedation for the filling. We have to schedule that and go back. It's going to take several hours and both Nate and I need to be present. Prayers are welcome for that apt!

Friday evening I got to check an item off our Fall Bucketlist. I somehow convinced Mason to let me take a few Fall pictures of him and he obliged! All it took was mentioning that we'd be in the area of the feed store and the big red train! Mason quickly agreed as long as I let him play on the train. Easy enough! Of course he kept asking if he could go to the train with every picture we took. I managed to get some good ones....sneak peek...

More pictures to come...
We spent the rest of the evening at home and it was nice! {that doesn't happen too often on a Friday night}
Saturday was a lazy day for us. I'd love to say that we slept in, but Mason was awake at 7:45am which is quite rare for him on a Saturday. My boy usually sleeps until 10 at the very earliest. I'm just glad we were able to be lazy!! We went for a late lunch at one of our favorite local spots Oma's Jiffy Burger. The weather is getting to be nice enough that we can eat out on the patio. They have picnic tables and two big screen tv's. It was a nice lunch!
That evening we went to a very, very unique wedding. The couple met through baseball and it's one of their greatest loves...so they got married on a baseball field. It was very cute!! I only managed to get a couple of pics, and neither were of the wedding. Fail!

Sunday morning we started our day off in the best way possible...at church! We got to listen to an amazing band The Sherman Mountain Boys and heard a great message! I love our church!! Afterwards we raced home to get ready for the Ranger game. Nate's mom got tickets for the entire family {11 of us} through her work and we were going to make a family day out of it. Our seats were in the blaring hot sun! Texas didn't get the memo that it was late September and was scorching hot. Luckily, we found some seats at the top in the shade! There was also a nice breeze! After the game we had an early supper at On The Border. It was a great day!

How was your weekend?
{Easter 2014 // Ranger game}
I know, I know...I am a little late posting this. But better late than never, right? Our Easter was pretty good. We visited my family early afternoon and then headed to the Ranger game. Mason was pretty excited about the game which made us excited. When we first walked up we saw a station to sign up for Junior Texas Rangers...so we did that for Mason! He got a neat bag, a water bottle that changes colors, a flag cape, a lanyard with a VIP pass, free tickets, coupons, etc. Definitely can't beat it for $20 bucks!!
{Texas Rangers Opening Day - 2014}
Ohmygoodness it's freakin' baseball season! Off-season is just entirely too long if you ask me. Do you know how long I've waited to post the words #hellowincolumn on Facebook {even though I didn't get to do that on Monday}? Too dang long!
{That time hubby and I went to Ranger's Opening Day...}
Well, we went.
Had a blast tailgating.
And then sad to admit, the game was kind of boring.
I can't believe I just said that! I absolutely LOVE Ranger games! There's just something about the ballpark. It's one of my "Happy Places". The smell of the concession food and fresh cut grass, the sound of the ball hitting off the bat, the songs the players choose as they walk up to bat, the crowd, and the game. I just love the "atmosphere" of the ballpark. I will jump at any chance I can to go to a game. It's
Rogers Hornsby
The opening ceremonies were quite touching. Robbie Parker, the father of Emily Parker who passed away in the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings, threw out the first pitch. Talk about emotional! Ivan Rodriguez caught the pitch. Amazing.
But after all the Opening Day ceremonies were over, the hype and excitement died down in our section. Everyone in our group had too much fun tailgating and were quiet during the game. Seriously! At one point I counted 4 people asleep. FOUR! ha! It was pretty funny. But, really, that should tell you right there how "quiet" our section was!
But all in all...not much beats being at the Ballpark!
{Happy Friday}
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."
