{Dallas Stars Opening Day // 2023}

After the green carpet event, we went to the Dallas Stars home opener game! The Stars hockey games are always so electric and so much fun. There's literally no sporting event that can compare to the excitement of a hockey game. And this is coming from a lifelong, die-hard baseball fan!

{DALLAS STARS OPEN PRACTICE}

A few times a year the Dallas Stars host a practice that is open to the public. We were lucky enough to get to attend this past weekend. It was our first one, so we weren't sure what to expect. Now we know to get there early, bring something for autographs (and a sharpie), and know the prime spots. We still had a good time and it was fun to see the team a little up close and personal.

{Dallas Stars Green Carpet // 2023}

One of the coolest events we have ever attended was the Dallas Stars Green Carpet! Nate and I took off work to take Mason and it was well worth it!! We weren't sure what to expect since it was our first time and it far exceeded any of our expectations!!

{SURPRISING MASON WITH OPENING DAY STARS TICKETS}

Nathan and I heard about this really neat thing the Dallas Stars do called "The Green Carpet". It's where the players walk the green carpet up to the arena and often times they will stop for pictures or autographs. Nathan and I bought tickets for opening day (game) and took off work to take Mason to the green carpet event before the game. We decided to surprise Mason about the game & event in a different kind of way...

{Mason's Special Visitor // Victor E Green}

 Mason's grandparents pulled off the ultimate birthday surprise for him...

{STARS PLAYOFF GAME // GAME 9}

Nate and I were able to snag some Dallas Stars playoff tickets against the Seattle Kraken! It was one of the most fun (and intense) games we have been to yet. The whole vibe was a little more electric - which is saying a lot since these games always are! They had so many things going on outside of the AAC before the game.

{Dallas Stars vs Philadelphia Flyers // Game 8}

 We went to another Stars game!!  This was our 8th game this season!! At this point, I really wish we had season tickets. Maybe next season!! We truly love the games and how thrilling they are! There is so much action the entire game and it makes for an enjoyable time. Not to mention the fans are some of the best sports fans, EVER!

{DALLAS STARS VS PITTSBURGH PENGUINS // Game 7}

 "Do you want to go to the Stars game tonight?" may perhaps be the best question I've ever been asked on a Thursday! I mean, is that even a question? Yes is always the answer to a Star's game! We secured some tickets and we were all ecstatic. These games are the most fun!

{Vic's Kids Party // Skating with the Mascots}

As part of the official kid's hockey club, Mason got a special invite to attend Vic's birthday party! He got to ice skate and hang out with the Dallas Stars Mascot, Victor E Green, and four others!! This was exclusive to only kids in the official NHL hockey club!  He was ecstatic!!

{Dallas Stars vs Vancouver Canucks // Game 6 // A Huge SURPRISE for Mason}

We pulled off the ultimate surprise for Mason...

He knew we were going to the Stars game but he had no idea where we were sitting...

{Stars vs Blackhawks // Game 5}

Our nephew had been wanting to go to a Dallas Stars game with us so we made that happen! Mason was so excited to introduce him to the game he loves so much! We got there a bit early so that we could show Tanner around the AAC!

{Stars vs Lightning // Game #4}

Nate and I were sitting on the couch on Saturday afternoon and one of us mentioned going to the Stars game! It was kid appreciation day and we really wanted Mason to be able to attend for all the activities! With less than an hour until the game, we secured some tickets and were on our way!!

{Stars vs The Ducks // Game #3}

Some of our dear friends got tickets to the Stars vs Ducks game and offered us three of their extra tickets! We quickly (and gratefully obliged).  This would be our first game since we went back on December 8th.  Our December and January were jam-packed or we would have gone to more games during that time. Anyhow, we were so excited and we couldn't wait to get there!!

{Stars Game #2}

Nate came home from work a couple Thursdays ago and asked Mason and me if we'd like to go to the Stars game! That was an immediate "yes" from Mase and me. We love the Stars game and will take any opportunity we can to go watch them!!

{Go Stars!! // Mason's first hockey game}

A couple weeks ago, we went to the Dallas Stars game with our group of friends (guys from Nate's work + their spouses) and we had so much fun! There were 20-something of us, taking up three rows in section 330!
