{Weekend Wrap-Up}

Okay, okay - so I am almost a week late posting this, but it's been a busy week! We had a really good Labor Day weekend. It was a pretty big one for Mason. :) I can't wait to share!!

Friday - we drove into Arlington, TX for dinner with BrowerPower, Kelly and Phyllis. It was really nice. We had On The Border and hung out on the patio and chatted. Trent is going away on a business trip, so we are praying for him and can't wait for him to return home. I am waiting for Krista to post the pictures. Once she does I will insert them here.

Saturday - we went to Canton! We left really early and even hit a good garage sale on the way. Mason got a new Jumperoo and Walker! Oh and a barn toy set. Mason was really good at Canton. Mostly just looked around at everything and everyone, and even slept too. Nathan, Mason and I all wore matching colored shirts. It was greatness.

(Oh and for the pictures, these are from my handy-dandy iPhone. I am loving the ShakeItPhoto App. It's too hard to carry around a huge Nikon and a 17lb baby, so bear with me!)

Sleeping at Canton:

Taking a break, and mommy snapped a ton of photos:

I especially love this one! Such a precious moment!!

Lil Family Picture after Canton!

I am one lucky Momma!!

After Canton Daddy built a fence: (you'll see why later)

We had to go to Tractor Supply for these panels:

Mason, you were wiped out - so you slept the whole time!

Uncle T.Y. helped!

And Uncle Jordan came out to visit:

On Sunday you played in your new Jumperoo, some.

And one of your big milestones over the weekend, you slept in your crib for a while! Mommy stayed in the room with you so that when you woke you weren't too totally out of your element!

Later we went over to visit Nana and Papa and uncle T.Y.

(you love to look over Mommy & Daddy's shoulder while walking. And you've taken to sucking on your hand, or our shoulders)

And for big milestone #2 - you rolled over for the first time (stomach to back)!!!!

Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you, Monkey!

And on Monday - you got a new pet! Hank the Donkey :)

And for milestone #3 - Mason, you had juice for the first time on Monday. We gave you Apple/Prune juice (watered down) and you LOVED it!!! We are going to give you a little bit everyday!!

And that was our weekend! Whew!

{15 Weeks}

Mason, you were 15 weeks on Tuesday 9/7/10. Happy 15 weeks, bubba! You are such an amazing baby with a loving and happy heart. Mommy and Daddy love you more than words could ever say. We love watching you grow and learn new things each day.

- You love to stand up and get mad if we are sitting!
- You are very, very strong
- We are sure you are around 16.5, 17 lbs by now. You grow by the minute. Daddy loves this! Thinks you are going to a be sports superstar! - You are still eating 4-6 ounces at a time (every 2 - 2 1/2 hours)
- We started giving you juice on Monday 9-6 to help with some bathroom issues, and you love it. Something different than milk!
- Mommy and Daddy got you a new Jumperoo and walker. You fit well in the Jumperoo, but still too short for the walker just yet
- You are outgrowing most 3 month clothes. 4 & 9 month clothes fit you great. And some 12mth t-shirts too.
- We have recently introduced you to football games and you love them as much as Ranger games!! Yay! Mommy and Daddy love this! You are going to your first live football game tonight. Only for the little town of Ferris, but your 1st nonetheless.
- You still sleep with Mommy & Daddy (you're such a cuddlebug)
- Still in size 2 diapers, Target brand and they are working out so great!
- You are laughing more. We've even gotten a few good belly laughs! Greatest sound on Earth!!

Also, you had a really big weekend last weekend - but I am going to post that separately!!

We love you, Masonbug!

{Totally Random}

Mason taking a break from nursing to smile and play with Mommy:

Playing with daddy! It's blurry because he was "flying" and moving so much!

{Bumbo Big Boy}

Mason is starting to have a lot more coordination while sitting in his bumbo seat. Wednesday he sat in his bumbo (on top of the kitchen island) while Mommy cooked dinner. And when Daddy got home they talked and played :)

Oh how I love these boys!!!

{Going Bald}

Okay, I've always heard people say "Children will make you want to pull your hair out sometimes" but no one ever told me that having a baby would make your hair fall out, really.

I am shedding like crazy and it's quite frustrating. I am so scared of going bald, or having "patches". Just kidding, sort of.

{Being a Daddy...Part Five}

Being a dad means taking into consideration the color of your shirt compared to the contrasting color of spit up.

{Being a Mommy...Part Eleven}

Means living on your baby's schedule and lovin' every minute of it!

{14 Weeks}

14 Weeks! Wow! 14 Weeks!

How and when did that happen?

Daddy calls you Monster, Mommy calls you Monkey, or Tubb-a-lub, or her sweet boy, but no matter what we call you, you always have the biggest smile on your face!  It lights up our world!!

We haven't weighed you in a while, but you are sure to be pushing 16lbs by now!

You are still eating 4-6 ounces at a time (every 2 - 2 1/2 hours)

You are still doing well with the milk-based formula, yay!

Sometimes you enjoy sitting in your swing or bouncer or bumbo seat.

When Mommy and Daddy eat dinner we place you in your bouncer in between us on the couch and you just go to town talking away! We love it.

You still love watching baseball, Rangers mostly! It's so intriguing to watch you watching the game! And it makes us so happy because we are huge baseball fans, too. Can't wait to take you to some Ranger games!!

You think Mommy and Daddy are the funniest people in the world, still

You LOVE to stand up both on your own in our lap, on the table, whereever and you like for whoever is holding you to stand up too.

You still sleep with Mommy & Daddy (you're such a cuddlebug)

Still in size 2 diapers

Mostly in 3-6 month clothing. some 9mth/12mth/18mth jammies

Love to go places and to be out and about

You are laughing more. I bet it's not long until you bless Mommy and Daddy with the good ol' belly laughs.

Your bedtime is still around 9 pm and you let us know!

Oh how Mommy and Daddy love you, sweet boy!

PS - Mommy loves how you fold your hands together as if you are in prayer at our bedtime feeding!!!
